High Quality Dual 3mm Red and Blue Leds
Common Cathode

These are 3mm LEDs with Clear Plastic body. They have 3 pins, the middle pin is common Cathode (negative) the other pins are Anode (positive) one for Red colour and the other Blue.

 

You can illuminate Red Or Blue Or both.

Specification:
Red Colour
Vf = 1.8v to 2.0v
If = 20mA
Colour Wavelength = 622nm

Blue Colour
Vf = 3.0v to 3.2v
If = 20mA
Colour Wavelength = 465nm

For any led it is important to apply the correct Vf and If to the led to produce the correct colour light output, otherwise you may see colour output which is not what you may expect. We have taken the measure to test each colour and each batch of leds for correct colour output.
We test the leds by applying  If =20ma to ensure the colour output is within acceptable tolerances.The If will greatly determine the colour output for any led, but remember not to apply too much current !

 

IMPORTANT: You
should always use a current limiting resisitor when powering an LED,

Please ensure you have the means to test the item WITHOUT applying ANY solder to the item. If an item has any solder applied I will NOT accept any return.
6) When upgrading to 1st class post, (if the option is available), please note this is sent via Royal Mail and is not a guaranteed next day service. If you need a 48hr service please select 48hr delivery at extra cost. This will be sent via Royal Mail or courier. I do not offer a 24hr service. No weekend or public bank holidaydeliveries.
7) We attempt to send out all orders received before 10.00am. This excludes weekends and public holidays.
