16 Channel 16 Way 5V Logic Relay Shield Module With Optocoupler NEW UK Seller
UK STOCK
This is a high quality board incorporating 16 x 5V DC Relays which allows for easy switching of higher voltages and are ideal for use with a microcontroller such as a PIC, Arduino, ARM or AVR.
The relays used in this module can switch up to 10A at 250V AC, or up to 10A at 30V DC.
An LED indicator shows which relays are currently on.
Inputs are Active Low and need to sink approx. 5ma per input
If the input voltage is low this energises the relay, the relay’s NO (Normally Open) contact is connected to the relay’s COM (common) contact.
If the input voltage is high 5v, this de-energises the relay’s NC (Normally Closed) contact is connected to the relay’s COM (common) contact.
On the 2 way Terminal Block marked VCC and GND or the header Pins marked 5V and GND, supply your 5v Voltage. For each relay that energises you will need approx. 70ma current to drive each relay coil. So if all the realys are energised your 5v supply must be able to provide approx. 1.12amps
